\"Women<\/a>Dental offices are some of the cleanest places, but it\u2019s normal to be concerned about your safety amid the COVID-19 crisis. As we open our doors to serve our patients, your safety is our top priority<\/a>. Although we\u2019ve always had strict sanitary protocols, we\u2019ve revamped our policy to include advanced solutions recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. You can rest assured you and your smile are in good hands when visiting our office.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n\n\n

1. Improved Personal Protection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Everyone in our office has recently completed additional\ntraining to improve their awareness about the importance of personal hygiene\nand protection. Besides daily health checks and frequent handwashing, our team\nis also keeping their long hair pulled back and leaving their jewelry at home.\nYou\u2019ll also notice we\u2019re keeping our fingernails short. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your dental team will also wear the appropriate masks, face shields,\nand gloves while in the office and when with patients. At the end of the day,\nwe\u2019ll change out of our work clothes to prevent any potential germs or bacteria\nfrom leaving the office. Our team also uses disposable coverings to reduce\ntransmitting the virus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Enhanced Sanitation Techniques<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We raise the bar for reducing the transmission of coronavirus,\nas well as many other pathogens. We use the CDC-approved instrument sterilization\nprotocol. We have also stepped up our cleaning routine. We are allowing more\ntime between patients to thoroughly clean the office between visits. We also\ndeep clean every night to start the next day with a sterile environment. To\nreduce the risk of unwanted germs in the office, we\u2019ve also added a hospital-grade\nsanitizing station, which we\u2019ll ask you to use before entering our clinical\narea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Promoting Social Distancing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Social distancing is essential for combating the spread of COVID-19.\nWe\u2019ve stopped providing office tours to new patients before their initial\nappointment. In addition, we\u2019ve created a virtual waiting room. This allows you\nto stay away from other patients and staff until it\u2019s time to be directed to\nyour treatment room. Before entering our office, we provide pre-screening for\nevery patient. We\u2019ll also ask you to dispose of your outside gloves before\nentering to minimize cross-contamination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make it easier to keep our patients safe, we aren\u2019t seeing\nas many people each day to allow for more time between appointments. Don\u2019t\nworry, we still offer block scheduling to accommodate your family. We have also\nadjusted our hours to accommodate at-risk patients. In some cases, we can even\nuse teledentistry to save you an office visit for some consultations and follow-ups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
