Delta Dental Coverage & Availability
Each patient’s dental insurance policy represents a contract between the patient and the insurer. For that reason, coverage can vary dramatically from patient to patient, even if they are both covered by Delta Dental. Before we begin any treatment plan, we’ll review your individual policy and provide an accurate estimate of the out of pocket costs of your treatment. Most Delta Dental plans provide 80 to 100% coverage for preventive dentistry services, including dental checkups and teeth cleanings. Minor dental restorations like tooth-colored fillings usually receive 70 to 80% coverage, and more advanced restorative treatments like dental crowns are cover 50 to 70%.
